BDMC Coordinator

Manchester

Full time

We are seeking a business development, marketing and communications (BDMC) coordinator to join our team in Manchester.

The role is to be a key point of contact in the 90-strong Manchester office for delivering bids and communications projects – often working alongside the practice’s wider team in its London and Glasgow offices.

Key tasks include:

  • Collating and designing bid documents, presentations and related collateral for both architecture and interior design projects
  • Updating the intranet, website and photography archive
  • Organising photographic shoots
  • Planning and delivering events
  • Keeping marketing materials up to date
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks when necessary

Requirements:

  • Two to five years’ experience in work-winning, marketing or a complimentary field
  • Confident using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
  • An interest in architecture and design
  • Excellent attention to detail in both the visual and written form
  • Experience in collating bid documents
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting Sheppard Robson’s collaborative culture and ways of working
  • A positive, can-do attitude that can balance creative work alongside more admin-based tasks
  • Clear and confident communication skills at all levels of hierarchy across the practice
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and organised with methodical planning
  • Disciplined time management
  • A degree or qualifications in a related subject is desirable but not essential
