Senior BIM Coordinator

London

The BIM Team is looking for a talented and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our London office. You will be a dynamic confident individual with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our BIM and Design Technologies team. You will be experienced in working on UK BIM Framework projects and to BS EN ISO 19650-2 and will be able to discuss how you have implemented this on previous projects. As a BIM Coordinator you will be expected to have 3 years minimum industry experience (Architectural discipline) and a minimum 1 year experience as a BIM Coordinator working on large projects.

As software skills are key to the role, you will have at least 3-5 years Autodesk Revit (Architecture) experience and have a solid understanding of most of the software functionality (Dynamo experience also desirable). Additional practical software experience will be expected for Navisworks, Rhino and Grasshopper.

BDMC Coordinator

We are seeking a business development, marketing and communications (BDMC) coordinator to join our team in London.

The role is to be a key point of contact in the practice’s London office for delivering bids and communications projects – often working alongside the practice's wider team in its Manchester and Glasgow offices. The practice is open to receiving applications with a range of experience and recruiting for either a BDMC Coordinator or Senior BDMC Coordinator role.

Key tasks include assisting in:

- Collating and designing bid documents, presentations and related collateral for both architecture and interior design projects

- Updating the intranet, website and photography archive

- Organising photographic shoots

- Planning and delivering events

- Keeping marketing materials up to date

- Supporting the team with administrative tasks when necessary

Requirements:

- At least two years' experience in work-winning, marketing or a complementary field

- Confident using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign

- An interest in architecture and design

- Excellent attention to detail in both the visual and written form

- Experience in collating bid documents

- Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting our collaborative culture and ways of working

- A positive, can-do attitude that can balance creative work alongside more admin-based tasks

- Clear and confident communication skills at all levels of hierarchy across the practice

- Ability to keep calm under pressure and organised with methodical planning

- Disciplined time management

- A degree or qualifications in a related subject is desirable but not essential.

Document Controller + Facilities Assistant

Sheppard Robson is recruiting a Document Controller + Facilities Assistant to join its team in Manchester.

The practice is looking for a communicative and organised individual who will provide both document control and facilities support.

This person will work closely with the Document/Office Manager (North). Due to the nature of the role the individual will be required to work onsite for five days a week.

Key tasks

- Quality assurance checks and issuing of project drawing information

- Maintain drawing and other documentation information on our database

- Preparing documents for storage and archiving as appropriate

- Oversee internal and external training and implement extranet procedures

- Assist with coordination/facilitation of small internal office moves with direction from the Office Manager/Facilities Director

- Undertake/assist with ad hoc maintenance tasks within skill set and as directed by the Office Manager

- Provide assistance with ad-hoc queries & errands (with reference to relevant parties as necessary).

Experience + skills

- Previous experience in document control or a comparable role, ideally within architecture, is desirable

- Previous experience in a facilities or customer-facing role

- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
