Malcolm McGowan RIBA Consultant
After being partner for 21 years at the practice, Malcolm became a consultant in 2019. He has extensive experience in the commercial office, science and healthcare typologies and has successfully designed and delivered many major projects including the Glaxo research campus in Stevenage, the ground-breaking Helicon building in London and headquarters buildings for Slaughter and May, Motorola and the BBC. He is currently working on the Centre for Music, the major new concert hall in the City of London.
Malcolm has lectured at the Royal College of Art and is engaged in debates surrounding key industry issues. His particular interest is the future shape of the industry and the value of design.
Malcolm represented the UK in rowing at the Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1980.
