Lee Bennett RIBA Partner
Lee is the Chair of the practice’s Design Review Group—which promotes design quality and innovation throughout the company— and has a strong reputation for designing inspiring spaces for teaching and learning.
Lee has worked on a range of projects, including a diverse portfolio of education projects and prominent workplace-led developments. His exemplary school designs—many of which demonstrate an interest in low-embodied energy building systems, such as Cross-Laminated Timber—range from projects built in socioeconomically challenged areas of Liverpool, to the independent Perse School in Cambridge. Recent and ongoing projects that Lee has led include London Business School’s Sammy Ofer Centre at Old Marylebone Town Hall and East London Science School in West Ham.
Lee teaches at Liverpool University and is an External Examiner at the Architectural Association. His views on new models for education, methods of construction, and the direction of the profession have been widely published and have been the subject of numerous lectures.
