James Dick

James leads a diverse portfolio of education and commercial projects from Sheppard Robson’s Glasgow office and is a member of the practice’s Design Review Group.

With over 20 years’ experience of working across Scotland, James leads high-profile urban regeneration, mixed-use and commercial developments. Several of James’ projects include unlocking new and valuable opportunities within cities, such as with South Dalmarnock Integrated Urban Infrastructure masterplan and the plans for Custom House, which occupies a prominent site on the River Clyde.

Other major projects include a new commercial building, 177 Bothwell Street, which creates a strategic gateway to Glasgow city’s financial district, and the award-winning Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine for the University of Edinburgh.

James is a representative of the Glasgow Urban Design Group for the City Council and is an active member of the BCO.
