Plots 18.02 & 18.03 of the Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan have been granted planning permission

Our design for plots 18.02 & 18.03 of the Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan have received resolution to grant planning permission from Greenwich Council. The project will deliver a total of 475 new homes across a variety of building types in South East London for client L&Q.
The development will comprise two towers of 22 and 30 storeys in height, mansion blocks and 17 4-bedroom townhouses suitable for larger families. The development is mixed tenure, comprising 60% affordable housing (split equally between London Affordable Rent and Shared Ownership homes), and 40% market sale homes. A key consideration during the design process was ensuring that the homes appear tenure neutral, and that the different tenures cannot be differentiated by their external elevations of communal areas.
Plots 18.02 and 18.03 occupy a prominent corner plot fronting to the new Central Park, being delivered as part of the wider Greenwich Peninsula masterplan. It will be the first residential development in the Brickfields Neighbourhood, setting a high-quality benchmark for the transformation of the wider area.
The design has been developed to provide a diverse offer in both housing type and tenure. Across two plots a range of buildings include towers and mansion blocks, framing the park edge along West Parkside, while family townhouses provide a more intimate townscape along Hendon Street. At the centre of the plots, a generous new pocket plaza serves the local community and pupils of the adjacent St Mary Magdalene school. Residents can also enjoy outdoor landscaped spaces at podium level and the tower sky terraces. At street level, buildings are animated by lobbies, homes, and commercial frontages.
