Winners announced for Sheppard Robson awards at MMU's final degree show
14th June 2016
This year, Sheppard Robson presented three awards at the Manchester Metropolitan University final degree show - two for interior design and one for architecture.
The interior design award, presented by both Andrew German and Marie Leyland, looked for designers who value ideas, invention and practical resolutions in the creation of new, and often unconventional interior identities. This year’s awards went to designers Leá Daste and Amy Stevenson. Leá will be starting a position in the London office and Amy will be starting a position in the Manchester office where they will both be working on some exciting upcoming projects.
The architectural prize was the inaugural Jicwood Award, which focuses on recognising unique architectural viewpoints at BA level, and this went to Laura Keay.
