BBC Central Square has been recoginsed as the winner of the 'IQ Award,' given to projects that have used innovation and new techniques or platforms to drive better quality in the delivery of projects to help future generations. It has also been recognised with a distinction for the 'Alliance Award,' for projects that demonstrate excellence in undertaking construction project management.

Christina Stoltz, President of the ICPMA, said: "The design and on-site delivery of this unique neurodiverse project for the BBC is of a world-class standard and fully deserves these two prestigious international awards. This is the first time that the International Construction Project Management Association (ICPMA) has awarded two awards to one project. The effort put into the planning, collaboration and design resulted in an outstanding building for the BBC Central Square, Cymru Wales. It is clearly visible that the project is "about and for people" with its innovative neurodiverse design concept. Our congratulations to all involved."
