Hull Library scoops Student Experience award
20th October 2016
The redevelopment and refurbishment of the prestigious Brynmor Jones Library, University of Hull, has won the Student Experience Award at this year’s Education Estates conference. The award recognises the considerable time spent working with the Students Union at the University to shape the building and spaces around the student and staff’s requirements. The award also acknowledged the data collated by the National Student Survey which noted how the project has boosted student satisfaction, both during construction and following completion of the project.
The full list of shortlisted projects can be found here. The Brynmor Jones Library was also shortlisted for Refurbishment of the Year where it was joined by another Sheppard Robson project, the transformation of Lancaster University Library.
