Camden Courtyards wins Housing Design Award

3rd July 2018

Camden Courtyards won the Greater London Authority award at yesterday’s Housing Design Award ceremony, recognising how the project engages with several pertinent and timely urban issues, from creating a high-density, mid-rise development to the provision of 50% affordable homes.

The scheme, by adopting a compact ‘S’-shape plan, achieves 1142 habitable rooms per hectare, making the high-level of affordable homes viable.

The Housing design Awards are the longest-running awards in the country recognising skill and innovation in housing.
