Barony Campus wins Project of the Year, Schools category, in this year’s Education Estates Awards

Last night the Barony Campus took home the award for Project of the Year, Schools category, for this year’s Education Estates Awards!

The Barony Campus consolidates five schools into one campus, creating a centre for education for the towns of Cumnock and neighbouring Auchinleck. The design, organised as four connected structures, provides a healthy and positive learning environment that supports and encourages progression, by creating a sequence of connected spaces that students move through as they grow older and their abilities change.

The project forges links between the communities that share it and has set the standard for enhancing opportunities locally. We are proud that it has received such significant recognition.

The Barony Campus was a truly collaborative effort and would not have been possible without the combined aspirations and support of our client of East Ayrshire Council and the communities of Cumnock and Auchinleck.

Well done to our contributing team members, including Adam McGhee, Darren Reat, David Shaw, James Browne, James Dick, James Jones, Kat Johnson, Kevin Fielding, Laura Matthews, Lucy Durkan, Mathew Millington, Michael Peachey, Paul Kelly, Rupert Goddard, Ryan McMonagle and Simon Davies.
