Stem Cell and Influenza Centre (National Institute for Biological Standards and Control) Hertfordshire, UK

The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control is planned around landscaped courtyards.

During the design and development of this international facility, particular attention was given to the environmental and sustainability aspects. The incorporation of sympathetic materials, the use of the long sloping south-facing site, together with the long low roof lines, enhanced the rural setting.
