Betteshanger Country Park Eco-Lodge Kent, UK
The project is part of new campus masterplan which includes a new sustainable country park, eco-lodge hotel, visitor destination and offices.
The rooms are conceived as self-sustained entities. They harvest their own rainwater, use solar radiant panels for hot water, whilst PV panels supply energy and wind catchers are used to ventilate the spaces.
The country park eco-lodge has extensive resources including its own dairy farms and poultry units as well as significant rural resources including equestrian research. It is the intention that all guests participate in the activities that surround this model for sustainable living, making the Betteshanger Country Park Eco-Lodge a one-of-a-kind hotel experience.
